Post subject: Interesting Line Up For The Race Reply with quote

Today we was invited to join Extreme Racing managr Roy for breakfast, for us this was a honor as he tends to eat alone first thing on a morning. Roy was happy to see us and seemd to be in a good mood which we couldn't under stand as there testing resaults wasn't as good as they had hoped for.

Roy ordered his breakfast and asked us what we wanted, we just had a few slices of toast as i'm not really one for beakfasts, Roy on the other hand had gone for everything on the menu by the looks of things.

We was pleased to see the team's head designer Miran Ferrante, was joining us, as was all the driver's. I remember thinking to myself this is going to be a busy day for us interviewing everyone, but the team's test driver Francisco Vélez was not feeling too well so he was sent to the motor home to rest, Roy said he had been out on a date last night and had a slight case of food poisoning but will be ok in a few day's.

After a few minutes the water came back taking our order for drinks, Roy asked us what we felt of the season in general and if last weekend was an indication as to how the rest of the season will be for his team, we didn't know what to say but quickly answered the question as best we could by saying we think you shouldn't read to much into one race. Roy smiled at us and said he would let us ask all the questions from now on.

Roy You Said You Was Hopping For 5th And 6th Do You Think Its Possible For Your Team To Still Fight For Those Places In The Race?
if all goes as planned we can't see why not, we are still a little faster than our main rivals and as we already know strategies will be what decides some places in the race. Our main concern is reliability though, we have looked at out car's and hope we have sorted our reliability problems out..

Talking About Reliabilites You Must Be Keen To Get Some Points Behind You Jaan Kosmonout?
Yeah it would be very nice to finish this race in the points and if i can get a good start i could move up a few places and hopefully pull away from the driver's behind me. The last race was hard because of the retirement on the last lap it made m feel angry because i had driven a perfect race almost and was trying to be as conservative on the engine as i could, but these things happen and like Roy said in the last press release we have to let the past go and move on.

Roy We Understand You Are Already Thinking Where To Focus On Next Seasons Car, Can You Give Us An Insight Into Your Plans For The New Car?
In short i have been going over the data we have gathered so far from this seasons car's and its a little to early to say what is the main area's tofocus on, of course we have scribbled down some area's but they are only rough scetches and for that reason we can't really say where we will be focusing on next seasons cars.

Lookng At The Qualifiying Resaults  How Do You Think Things Will Go?
The one thing that is very obviouse this weekend is much closer all the team's ae to each other and it will no be an easy race for any of us, we don't think we will have th speed advantage we had over most of the team's like we did last weekend and might struggle to finish in the points but like we have said out main goal is to score points as often as possible and hopefully fight for 5th and 6th places.

Evans Racing Said They Like Reading Your Press Releases, Your Building Up Quite A Fan Club Now?
Evans Racing are a good team with a lot of potential, they have been getting stroger every season. This is a very competative division which can be seen from season 11 when Fabulasticos scored 17 points, and last season could only manage to score 1 point. They have managed to net 5 points this season which might be enough to save them while Evans Racing have yet to score some points but we believe they will score more points than last season and could well finish ahead of us in the champioship, we would like to thank Evans Racing manager Jack Evans for the kind words in his press release and wish them luck in the race later on today.

With Your Test Driver Out With Food Poisening Will This Affect Testing Next Week?
No we have a few driver's in our youth accadamy that can stand in for Francisco Vélez if he's still not 100%, but thats a few day's away and if he gets plenty of rest between now and then he should be back before we know it.

How Do You Think The Race Will Finish?
We think its safe to say we will not win the race, we thiink the race will end similar to last weekend and if we don't haveany more reliability problems we could see both our driver's inish in the points. We dothink that Evans Racing will score a few points and so will Zeroforce, it will be close for 8th place with Fabulasticos trying to further extend there points. The other team's might hav to pray for retirements which we expect will happen in this race.

The head mechanic Sulev Müür, came over and wispered something into Roy's. Roy then excussed himself from the table and said he was sorry but he'll have to go something has come up, Roy and Sulev Müür then walked away followed by both driver's, Miki Ormus and Jaan Kosmonout, later on Roy sent us an email saying how sorry he was to have had to leave the way he did and will try to find sometime after the race to speak with us again.
