Post subject: Very Good Resault Reply with quote

Earlier today we was sent an email from Roy asking if we would like to do the interview now while he's not so busy, of course we rushed over to meet Roy. We stood outside the garage where we could hear the driver's celebrating there resaults in the race.

Roy who by this time had seen us standing by the entance to the team's garage quickly came over and invited us in, where we could see the team was more than happy with the way the way the race had gone.

Roy looked at us and said it was the best day for the team because things could so easily have gone wrong, Roy then said we are not sure if we will have much time for many interviews next week because we will be working on the plans for next yars car.

Roy All The Team Seems very Pleased With That Resault, Was That How You Had Planned It?
We went with only one thing on our minds and that was to score points, we set ourselves a goal of 5th and 6th but finished 5th and 7th, this to us was as good as we could have hoped for really, we had taken last weekends reliability problems into account and changed our strategy to reduce stress on the engines, it all worked out and both driver's drove an amazing race.

You Said You Had Changed The Strategy To Help With Reliability, Exactelly What Did You Do?
I don't wish to go into great detail but we told both driver's to take it easy and ran a three stop strategy, and as you can see from our pace it didn't affect us that much.

How Does The Car's Look After The Race?
Both car's seem in good condition, but its still obvious that we need to do more work on them to improve the reliability because both car's was starting to show some wear, much more than we had this time last season.

Is There Any New Parts For The Car's Or Are You Still Not Doing Any Developement On The Car's
We are still trying t clear our debt problems, so all work on developing this seasons car's has stopped, we will or hope to be starting next seasons car in the next few day's though. We will not be doing any work on this seasons car on till our debt problems are uner control.

Do You Know How Long It Will Take To Clear Your DebtAnd Won't This Mean You Can't Improve The Reliability Of Of Tne Car's?
We can't say just yet but we are starting to think of more way's of reducing our weekly out goings, this could mean limited testing in th races and may be even the sale of some driver's. As for devloping tis seasons car's, yes we can't do anything to improve the reliablity problems on till the debt has been cleared which could be a long time from now.

Thats A Shock, Which Driver's Will You Sell?
When your in debt you have to do what you can to clear that debt and if that means selling driver's then so be it, of course we don't wish to sell any driver's if we can help it and we don't wish to list the driver's we might sell. For now we will work on what we can and see if we can work some kind of budget out that allows us to do what we need to do without having to sell anyone.

Do You Have Anything To Say About How The Team's Finished?
In actual fact yes i do, and i will start from the order the team's finished.

Blue Master, did an excellent job finishing 1st and 4th, and scoring a total of 15 points which will help them maintain there lead over Summer Spins. I think Though Blue Master's manager Steinar Hagen will have hoped for more points, but will still be happy with the resault after all they have extended there lead over Summer Spims by 1 point giving them a 4 point lead now. There car' looked very good and no sign of any reliability problems as of yet.

Summer Spins, took 2nd and 3rd which must please Simon Grainger, the team's manager. They are easily the second best team in the field but we still feel that they are holding back there true pace, perhaps at the half way mark we will see the real pace of Summer Spins.

Extreme Racing, well we had a very good race and as you can see we are more than happy with the resault which means we now move up into 3rd place in the constructors championship, but holding on to that place will be hard, we was running with less pace in this race, we had drasticlly lowered the rev's and both driver's was told to take it easy. So we could still have a good chance of holding on to 3rd.

Fabulasticos, who drop from 3rd in th constructors championship put up a good fight and again scored some points, they must be very happy with the way this season is going, seeing that they was so close to been relegated last season. Just shows how much things can change in one season.

Evans Racing, not as strong in the race as i expected but they still managed to score a point which is thanks to the late retirement of Frank Amirada from Zeroforce who was in 6th place at the time. Evans Racing now share the same amount of pints as Zeroforce so there could be some very ineresting battles to come from them both.

Zeroforce, must be very angry with the way the race turned out and i doubt they will want reminding of there retirement or how close there second driver was to scoring a point, they are a strong team which shocked us with there pace, they could be a team to challange us for 3rd place this season.

Neillagon, are an up and coming team that could score a point if some luck played into there hands, not sure if they will have the pace to stay up this season though but they do seem to have the pace to challange for places.

Team BattleBovine, had a good fight going on towards the back of the grid but we feel that they will be a team that will struggle to stay up this season.

AD Racing, brought up the rear of the field and must be disapionted with how things have gone, with one driver retiring because of a engine failure, perhaps they will find more speed and start challanging those ahead of them soon.

Nuneaton, will be very angry at them selves as will the driver's with the team's manager Adam Ayers, both car's drove into the pits to find no one was waiting for them, they have a weird pit stop stragety aswell whch was seen from the qualifiyng resaults. Not sure if they are trying to get good qualifiying resaults to help keep the sponsos happy or not but they must be close to lossing some of there sponsors now.

We then thanked Roy for his time and told him we look forward to seeing him at next weeks race, we wish his team all the best and hope they can sort there debt problems out soon, we didn't get chance to speak with either of the driver's as they was busy celebrating with the mechanics but Roy did say he would try to get an interview setup with them if we wanted. Of course we said yes, we then left the garage looking at the answer's to our questions Roy gave us we started asking our selves if Roy was trying to hide something from us.
